MISSION: Telecommunications (Telecom) Administration provides telecommunications service and repairs throughout the distributed campuses and other George Mason University locations. Our mission is to provide responsive and seamless telecommunications services to the Mason community by working collaboratively with other Information Technology Units (ITU) and vendors. Telecom Admin accomplishes this goal by meeting with other ITU departments and vendors to ensure systems are sized and operating efficiently. A group of Telecom Coordinators works with the Telecom Admin staff and acts as a liaison for each of the University's departments and colleges.

REMINDER:

Telecom Coordinators must submit the Telecom Coordinators' Request form (form 31) each year by July 1, the start of the new fiscal year, for yearly validation. SIgned forms can be faxed to 3-3541, Telecom Admin.

Those who have recurring GMU conference bridge meetings are reminded that meetings cannot be scheduled for dates outside of the current fiscal year. A new request is needed for each new fiscal year.

Where EVERY voice is heard

“To excel is to continually perform, not for a moment or moments, not for a day or days, but to perform day after day, month after month, and to make that uncommon performance look commonplace.”
